AFC Tickton lost to Bridlington Rangers in the 2nd round of the East Riding Cup.
AFC Tickton started the game with only ten men due to injuries and could not contain a strong Bridlington side, which by the first half were three goals up.
Matthew Linton replaced Connell Stonehouse in goal and although he managed to pull off some good saves there was no stopping Bridlington who went on to win the match five nil.
Lee Stonehouse, Manager of AFC Tickton, was pleased with the overall performance of the team, despite the result, considering they were a player down and that neither Connell nor Matthew are the team’s permanent goal keepers.
