Beverley Town were well beaten at the Norwood Recreation Ground by title contenders Sculcoates Amateurs.
Town fell behind early on after a couple of mistakes, the home side managed to get a goal back though Sculcoates managed to score twice more to claim all three points.
The win leaves Sculcoates Amateurs level on points with Humber Premier League leaders Chalk Lane who only managed a draw against bottom club Hessle Rangers.
Next weekend Beverley Town are in cup action as they face a trip to Hornsea Town in the Whitehead Fisheries League Cup.
