Beverley Town Reserves were beaten at home by South Cave Sporting Club in the East Riding County League.
South Cave who top the table had a two goal lead though Beverley battled hard getting one back thanks to a thunderous strike by Richard Durham.
Despite battling hard throughout the game Towns second string were unable to pull level.
