People who are looking to turn over a new leaf in 2012 can find inspiration in East Riding College’s new part-time course guide.
The 2012 edition features a wide range of courses taking place during the spring and summer terms and is now available from the College and on its website.
The publication features a wide range of programmes from a variety of subject areas. Courses are free to people on jobseeker’s allowance and employment support allowance (work-related activity group), and people on a range of other benefits pay a reduced fee.
People who do not have a level two or level three qualification are also entitled to pay the reduced fee for some courses and there are also flexible payment plans on many courses.
Principal Derek Branton said:
“The start of a new year is the ideal time to learn something new, whether you want to improve your chances of getting a new job or a promotion, or you would like to take up a subject as a hobby.
“In these difficult times, competition for every job vacancy is fierce so qualifications like these can be the difference between being the successful candidate and losing out to someone else.”
