This year the start of late night shopping coincides with the switch on of the Beverley Christmas lights and Amanti in Wednesday Market have decided to make Christmas Shopping even easier by continuing to open late throughout December.
Owner Amalia says:
“Christmas can be stressful for those that work 9 to 5 as they don’t have much time to do their shopping. Our online shop has made life easier for some but a lot of people still like to get their hands on the product prior to purchase and they also like to see a friendly face there to offer advice, so that is why we have decided to make late night shopping an option for our customers.
Starting on November 30 th and to coincide with the switching on of the Christmas lights, we will be opening our shop until 8pm. From then on we will continue to open until late every Wednesday and there will be a warm festive welcome awaiting every customer as well as a huge array of gift ideas and unique stocking fillers.”
Amanti hope to set the ball rolling for other Beverley businesses. “It would be great to think that we could start a trend throughout the town, “Says Amalia, “I am aware of a few shops who are going to open late but if the bigger businesses were willing to follow suit it could boost trade throughout the town and give shoppers the opportunity to take advantage of this year’s stunning Christmas lights display”.
Late night shopping and the turning on of the Christmas lights begins on 30 th November and Amanti continue to offer late night shopping every Wednesday until Christmas until 8pm.
