The Lord Nelson registered their first win in the East Riding County League by beating Molescroft Rangers 2 – 1 at Bishop Burton College.
Victory lifts the Lord Nelson off the foot of the table though next week they will face a tough test when they travel to King George V Playing Fields to face league leaders St George’s FC.
Molescroft Ranges have an equality tricky fixture at the Beverley Leisure Centre fifth placed Driffield Rangers.
