The Tanners were beaten at home by Pocklington Town in the Humber Premier League.
after just 12 minutes as Craig Hargreaves opened the scoring for the visitors. Thing were to get worse just nine minutes later when Ben Allport gave Pocklington Town a two goal lead.
Despite the setback Hodgsons FC pulled a goal back through Ben Daniels before the break.
In the second half Hodgsons were unable to capitalise on the chances they created
Manager Lee Hastings said;
“It was all us in the second half, we just could not score.”
Defeat leaves Hodgsons FC just one place off the bottom of the table, next weekend the Tanners will go to the Hull & East Riding Sports Club as they play Sculcoates Amateurs.
