I would like to express my sympathy to the poor lady who suffered at the hands of a sly, cunning thief. Especially at a time near Christmas I can’t help but think why, again, is the town’s CCTV failing to be utilised to the full (if at all)?….What an absolute waste of money.
Tesco have shown the impact of catching thieves like this with their system at the entrance/exit to their store. The town centre’s CCTV HAS to be monitored especially over Christmas when shoplifting and the likes is statistically at an all time high. Placing requests on a website is a sign of failing within the force.
