The Mayor of Beverley, Councillor Peter Astell, presented a cheque for £3,000 to Beverley Cornerstone at their Carol Service which was led by Beverley Brass Band.
Beverley Cornerstone is a Christian organisation for adults with learning disabilities which has helpers from different churches.
Causeway evenings are held most months with live music, drama, quizzes, and action songs with Makaton signing. They also organise a fun packed weekend holiday staying in Scarborough.
The money received from Beverley Town Council will help to fund these activities.
