Work has begun on Beverley Westwood to construct a storage yard.
The yard will be used by Yorkshire water and East Riding of Yorkshire Council to store materials for a project that will help reduce the risk of flooding to homes on Pasture Terrace.
A small access road has been made from York Road onto the Westwood. One Local resident was keen to point out this was a temporary and that once the work was completed later in the year the Westwood restored and all signs of the constructions removed.
