Beverley RUFC entertain second placed Chester at Beaver Park on Saturday in their National League 3 (North) campaign.
Despite the gap in the two sides’ league positions, the Beavers should not lack confidence for, if they play with the newly found spirit shown at Lymm last Saturday and eliminate the mistakes that they made, there is no reason why they should not overcome their visitors.
The return of Gavin Gibson, Fraley Hopa and Craig Hancock has revitalised the forwards although sadly, the Lymm hoodoo struck again and the ever influential David Worrall left the field after 15 minutes with what proved to be severely strained knee ligaments and he will be sidelined for at least six weeks.
Nevertheless, his replacement Tom Moody made an immediate impact and looks a very sound acquisition.
Prop Francis Pickering also picked up a calf injury and looks doubtful for this weekend.
The match is sponsored by Yorkshire Plywood Ltd
