Yesterday afternoon we got a second covering of snow in Beverley.
In the evening despite every bone in my body pleading with me to stay in the warm I took a trip into the town centre to grab a couple of shots for the site.
Taking shelter in the Market Cross I was able to take some pictures of Saturday Market. Bar a brief encounter with three rather drunk lads who thought is was funny to lob snowballs at my camera it was quite peaceful out there.
I was not the only one out on cold February night, there were plenty of others taking snaps of towns land marks.
This cold period has already ruined sporting fixtures and today beverley RUFC confirmed all the senior games at Beaver Park were once again off.
As Ricky Lee pointed out to me yesterday, we are just a few weeks away from the racing season and spring, it can not come soon enough for me.
PICTURE: To left of this sign there is a man in a hole fixing a leak, all this would have been gone by the morning

You don’t half paint a sorry picture of yourself sometimes.
