Beverley RUFC welcome 5th placed Birkenhead Park RUFC this Saturday, who are bound to provide tough opposition for this Saturday’s crucial National league Division 3 North match.
Last week’s 8-8 stalemate at Altrincham left Beverley RUFC still at the foot of the table, but results elsewhere closed the gap betweenthem and safety to 6 points.
However with 5 home compared with 2 away games remaining Beverley RUFC have a realistic chance of avoiding “the drop” providing they can reproduce the excellent home form shown in recent matches against high flying Chester and Rossendale.
The Beavers select from the squad that drew at Altrincham Kershaw strengthened by the return of Sam Atioli from injury, Tom Bagshaw and Ben Johnson who were on duty with Yorkshire Under 20’s last week plus Stanley Gene who did not qualify for that game.
