Beverley Town Reserves were beaten at the Norwood Recreation Ground by AFC Woodlands. Town who are bottom of the East Riding County League knew this would be big ask and despite starting well slipped to their tenth league defeat of the season.
The return of manager Garry Proud from his sunshine retreat saw him take his place on the touch line with Phil Moses though despite their best efforts they were unable to work their magic and come up a win.
The defeat leaves Beverley Town FC second string firmly routed to the bottom of the table though Phil Moses is confident that his side can string together a few results and climb out of the drop zone.
Final Score: Beverley Town Reserves 1 AFC Woodlands 2
