Beverley Whitestar became the first team to beat East Riding Girls Football League champions Mill Lane United.
United went into the derby looking to cap off their championship season with a win which would have seen them win all fourteen league games.
Whitestar, runners up in the league had other ideas and took a two goal lead into the beak setting up an exciting second half at Broadgates.
United applied plenty of pressure in the second half getting themselves back on level terms with less than five minutes in the game.
Almost straight from the kick off Whitestar pushed forward, from a resulting corner the visitors somehow managed to grab their third after a scramble in front of the United goal.
For the record, in the East Riding Girls Football League Beverley based sides finish, first second and third.
