HU17.net took a trip to Eurofit Systems Ltd in Beverley this week to take a look behind the scenes of their warehouse with Graham Gould.
Eurofit have been based in Beverley for over 6 years, with a 55,000 sq ft warehouse and office complex tucked away at the end of Barmston Road.
They supply fittings and components to some of the largest kitchen and office manufacturers across the UK, as well as offering their products to the public via their Eurofit Direct website – the range of products they offer include drawer runners, table legs, furniture handles and furniture locks.
Graham Gould has worked at Eurofit nearly 7 years, starting when they were based in Hull and moving with them to their new home in Beverley, he is the Senior Warehouse Operative in a team of 5 who manage the stock in the warehouse and all the despatching of the orders.
HU17.net followed Graham for an afternoon in their warehouse and when we arrive he was in the middle of quality control on a delivery of chrome table bases, where he is responsible for checking for defects on the table column before they are despatched to an office furniture company.
Graham is a fully qualified fork lift driver, and part of his job role is to pick pallets of products from the vast racking system in the warehouse, label them up with the appropriate delivery details, before loading them onto the haulage truck that makes their deliveries daily right across the UK.
