Tracing family history is a very popular and fascinating past time, but sometimes it can be difficult to know where to start.
The family history courses run at the Beverley Treasure House are an excellent way to get off the mark, with the next eight-week course set to begin this month.
The course will be held on Thursday evenings, starting on Thursday, 26 April. The total cost is £42, including a pack containing everything needed to get started in tracing a family tree.
This is a great opportunity to investigate family ancestry and meet other new family historians. By the end of the course everyone will leave with the start of their family tree and a pack of information to help them carry on researching.
The course will be led by expert tutors, who will introduce different ways in which participants can find information about their ancestors.
Places are limited on all these courses and booking is essential.
