Beverley Arts Trust and ArtERY Live are delighted to welcome back to East Yorkshire one of Denmark’s most well-known exports, Harald Haugaard and his band.
Back by popular demand after three superb concerts here last Spring, this time Harald will be bringing his show to Beverley.
Harald is acknowledged as one of the world’s greatest fiddlers. His vast range of musical styles appeals to all ages and all musical tastes, including people who like folk music as well as traditional, cross-cultural and classic acoustic music.
His band delicately blends old traditional Danish dance tunes which have the audience up and dancing with Harald’s own beautiful compositions.
His style as a fiddler is playful, light and elegant but also dramatic and melancholic. For this special show, Harald will be joined by singer Helene Blum.
The show is coming to Beverley under the auspices of ArtERY Live, the local rural touring theatre scheme which is funded by Arts Council and East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
Tickets are therefore extremely good value for money for the event that takes place on at St Mary’s Parish Hall on Friday 25 May at 7.30pm, bar opens from 7pm.
Tickets can be purchased for just £6.50/£4 concessions from Beverley Tourist Information Centre 01482 391672 or Beverley Arts Trust 01482 870751 or email callybarker@barker05.karoo.co.uk
