Beverley Train Station was the focus for local rail enthusiasts who started to gather to catch a glimpse on the 70013 Oliver Cromwell steam locomotive.
The train which went into service in 1951 was taking passengers on a tour around Yorkshire, there were plenty of people on the platforms and bridges waiting to see the 70013 Oliver Cromwell Locomotive, which was close to two hours late!
Starting at London Kings Cross the train made its way up the country before joining the Yorkshire Line hauling its passengers through the Yorkshire Wolds and East Riding of Yorkshire.
Surprisingly tickets started at just £84 for the tour with premier tickets going for just £199, compared to modern rail fares these looked a bit of a bargin.
