Hodgsons FC picked up a valuable three points as they beat North Cave 4 – 3 in the Humber Premier League.
Luke Thompson scored a hatrick for the Tanners with Adam Foster completing the scoring for the home side.
The Tanners who have enjoyed a mini revival under the leadership of Rob Lever now move nine points clear of the relegation zone.
Hodgsons FC will face North Ferriby United Reserves next weekend needing just a point to secure Humber Premier League football next season.
