Summer Part-Time Course Guide Out Now

East Riding College’s new part-time course guide is out now, listing courses across a range of subject areas which take place during the summer term.

The guide covers courses leading to a qualification in subjects from childcare to health and safety, and a selection of hobby learning courses which enable learners to try out a subject for fun or before going on to an accredited course.

Courses are free to people on jobseeker’s allowance and employment support allowance (work-related activity group), and people on a range of other benefits pay a reduced fee.

People who do not have a level two or level three qualification are also entitled to pay the reduced fee for some courses and there are also flexible payment plans on many courses.

Principal Derek Branton said:

“The summer term is the ideal time to sample one of our shorter courses before going on to a course which results in a qualification from September.”

“Our latest course guide features nearly 100 courses which can help you in your career or simply enable you to learn about a subject for fun.”
