Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision on Lairgate in Beverley on Saturday 28 April 2012.
A silver coloured Volkswagen Golf was parked at the rear of Briggs & Powell on Lairgate in Beverley between 1230hrs and 1330hrs on Saturday 28 April 2012 when it was struck by another passing vehicle causing extensive damage.
The incident was not witnessed by the owner of the silver coloured Golf but a note was left, apparently by the driver of the vehicle which struck it.
Attempts to contact the driver with the details left at the scene have proved unsuccessful and police are now appealing for this person to come forward.
The person leaving the note or anyone else who has any information in connection with this incident is asked to contact Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 quoting log number 240 of 30 April 2012.
