Beverley Town Cricket Club’s 3rd XI made light work of South Holderness beating them by 7 wickets at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
South Holderness opened the batting but were unable to deal with Beverley’s Kieran O’Brian who picked up four wickets for just 21 runs.
Sam Welburn chipped in with three wickets while youngster Matthew Novis also got a wicket as South Holderness were bowled out for just 74 runs.
Beverley reached the required target in just 24 overs, James Broekhuizen (9), Kevin Thompson (19), Alastair Brumfield (11 no), will Smith (4) and Robert Fish (17 no) got the runs needed to secure victory for the home side.
