Bridlington Come From Behind To Lift Senior Cup

Bridlington Town came from two goals down to win the East Riding Senior Cup at the KC Stadium against Hall Road Rangers Reserves.

Town went into the match as favourites but never go got going early on and went two goals behind to a Rangers side that featured local lad Danny Moore.

Bridlington got a vital goal just before the break and in the second half never looked back as they went on a rampage in the second half scoring a further seven goals.

Hall Road Rangers Danny Moore said after the match;

“It is a shame the game is not 45 minutes long, you can’t take anything away from the Town they played very well in the second half.”
