With the first residents having already made it their home, the St Nicholasgate development in Beverley is certainly beginning to take shape.
And Linden Homes has been sharing the town’s newest vista with Mayor of Beverley Cllr Peter Astell, who visited the development and alone with pupils from St Nicholas Primary School cut the ribbon marking the official opening of the first completed street scene.
Cllr Astell joined members of the Linden Homes sales team, residents and other invited guests to celebrate the latest milestone in the progress of the 130-home development.
Against the backdrop of the historic market town centre and iconic Beverley Minster, St Nicholasgate will comprise a selection of thoughtfully designed two, three and four-bedroom energy efficient homes.
The street scene is conceived to blend seamlessly into the surrounding area, while homes will appeal to first time buyers, families, couples or single occupants.
Linden Homes’ connections and marketing manager Gizzy Murray said:
“The development has created a real buzz about the town from its early days, and it continues to do so. The street scene is the latest in the development’s progress and we were delighted that the mayor was able to join us to see St Nicholasgate truly taking shape.”
Prices currently range from £149,950 to £249,950. The sales and marketing suite and show home are open daily from 10.30am until 5pm.

A new show home is expected to open at the development in the near future.
