With nothing to separate these two exceptional teams in passion and endeavour it was an excellent individual goal by Isobel Gillyon that settled the game at Broadgates.
North Ferriby United battled hard to get an equaliser and Mill Lane United strove to extend their lead as attack and counter attack became an onslaught on both defences.
For Mill Lane United solid defending by Millie Gray, Ellie McMillan and Alex Clark did not allow Ferriby to score whilst in midfield Rebecca Long ran herself ragged to support the attack play of Connie Forward, Hope Barrett and Gillyon.
But it was the exceptional saves of player of the match and goalkeeper, Chloe Hakeney that kept Mill Lane ahead.
Both teams deserved to come away with the points and both teams now face one final game in the league to decide the East Riding girls Football League Title.
