Beverley Town Council Invest In New Website

Beverley Town Council is proud to launch its new website, propelling the town’s grassroots tier of local government into the 21st Century.
The site will offer new ways of interacting with town council services, events including direct access to members of the council, and has been developed in close partnership with Indicoll a Beverley-based web design company.

Mayor of Beverley, Cllr Margaret Pinder hopes that having a website tailored to the aims and achievements of the council will encourage more residents of the town to engage with local democracy and service provision, and help shape the character of Beverley.

Helen Watson Beverley Town Clerk said

“It has been a pleasure to work with Indicoll as a local organization. Indicoll worked really hard to develop technical ideas and communicate them easily to a Town Council perspective, and demonstrated how an enhanced online presence can be built into the duties of a Town Council office”.

Helen added that she is particularly happy that Beverley Town Council can communicate with the town via social media, which is a big plus for residents.

Andy Hayes – Managing Director of Indicoll said

“Indicoll were delighted to be given the opportunity to develop a new website for Beverley Town Council. Indicoll developed bespoke software, tailored for the Town Council, to make it easy for the Town Clerk and Staff to manage the website, to keep residents regularly updated. Social Media is now part of everyday life, and through training from Indicoll, the Town Council can now keep in touch with residents and local businesses in real time.”
