Mill Lane United failed to qualify for the national Futsal championship after finishing second in the Yorkshire region final.
Although the Beverley side were undefeated with 1 victory and 2 draws it was not enough as they struggled to play their normal free flowing passing football against determined opposition.
Performance wise for United Chloe Johnstone and Jodie Brown showed up well with special mention to volunteer goal keeper Charlotte Holliday and Emma Johnson who got up off her sick bed to play.
Mill Lane United did not qualify this year, but wish to pass on their congratulations and support to South Cave Wildcats who qualified for the Girls u16 nationals at Birmingham and hope to bring the trophy back to Yorkshire after finishing runners up in last years u14 competition.
