On a wonderful warm evening Beverley Town Bowls Club Pairs entertained Little Weighton A team at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
The green was in superb condition but the result was not in Beverley’s favour losing 69 shots to 91.
Married couple Chris and Dave Robson were the only winners for Beverley making the score Beverley 2 points Little Weighton 8 points, incidentally Chris and Dave are unbeaten this season so far, repeating last year’s tally.
Next week Beverley will entertain Melton B and are hoping for a better result.
