To mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee residents of Westwood Road held a ‘Jubilee Games’ on the Beverley Westwood.
In order for the games to take place neighbours worked together to clear a strip of grass of cow pats and mowed the grass for the keenly awaited event.
People of all ages competed in a range of games that included an egg race, space hopper race and also a tug of war to name a few.
