Creation Fine Arts is delighted to host a new exhibition – “Wingbeats” – the final part of ERA’s (East Riding Artists) project for Imove, Yorkshire’s cultural programme for London 2012.
During the last year ERA members have been producing work based on flight and the sensation of standing on East Yorkshire’s cliffs.
This exhibition, which runs from 16th June until 28th July 2012, will show ERA’s best original artworks in a wide variety of mediums and a preview takes place on 15th June from 6-8pm in the gallery.
Creation Fine Arts Curator, Nigel Walker says:
“This exhibition has provided a particularly exciting opportunity for ERA to be involved in the Cultural Olympiad. The artists very much enjoyed the brief they were set, responding with individual takes on the theme.”
“The launch of the exhibition coincides with the journey of the Olympic Torch through our region and I hope that will generate added interest in the artworks here.”
