Guy Adams Pleased With Players Attitudes

Pre-season training is now in full swing at the Beverley Leisure Centre. The first training session saw 25 players attend with many new faces.

Guy Adams brought along a conditioning expert who performed a number of tests on all players and dished out some nutritional advice. Guy was pleased with the attitude and response from the players. He commented

”After only three sessions, I can see the beginnings of side with a winning mentality.”

At least, two pre-seaon friendlies are planned one of which will be against be away against Guy’s club West Riding based Wortley Dragons of the Pennine league. The club does not know the format of the Hull & District league this coming season. Details will be released after the League’s August monthly meeting.

Following recent initiatives by Hull FC at promoting Rugby League in the primary schools of rural East Yorkshire the club would like to point out that Beverley being at the centre of this rural area can cater for all age groups from under 8s to under 14s.
