The Beverley Braves U9s ran out comfortable winners against a decent Vikings side on Wednesday night beating their opponents 10 tries to 5, Alex and Tom Nuttall each scored two tries each with Will Cohen and Owen Miller also recording a brace, some of them absolute crackers !
However this was definitely a win that was built on solid defence with the home side showing much more enthusiasm than in recent outings, quickly learning that to close down the man with the ball and give them less room to run makes life much easier on the rugby field. Lewis Bradley & Alexei Rawlings particularly shone in defence.
Adam Greenwood played very well on his return to the side following injury whilst Matty Shirley gave his all throughout the match.
