Unique Hairdressing is delighted to announce their third salon will open in the historic East Yorkshire town of Beverley, creating 18 jobs across the group.
Unique has fast become one of the UK’s leading salon groups – in less than five years they have expanded from nine staff to two salons and been named as one of the top six salon companies in the UK by HAIR magazine.
They are also proud to be one of the 80 UK premier salon accounts (out of 10,000) for product giant, Wella. With their incredible hairdressing expertise and stylists’ experience it is no surprise that five of their in-house trainees have graduated to become professional stylists.
The new salon is housed on Beverley’s Walkergate, a thoroughfare alongside which once ran a beck, and was first recorded on public records in 1329. Beverley is steeped in history with a religious dwelling being on the site since 176 and is home to the famous racecourse.
The town is host to an annual literature festival, kite festival and a biannual Beverley Puppet Festival. – plus a number of music festivals catering for all tastes.
The first Unique salon opened in Cottingham in 2006 and proved so successful that a second salon followed a year later on Hessle’s ‘designer row’, The Weir. Unique Beverley will open on 23rd August 2012.
