Dean Windass will be the guest of honour at newly formed Junior Football Team, Capital Crusaders for their fun-filled Open Day being held at Walkington Playing Fields this Sunday 22 July between 12 noon and 4pm.
Head Coach, Roger Cutsforth, commented;
“We’ve had a fantastic response from interested players/parents to what we are creating here and a number of players are already signed up for next season but we are looking for more especially in years 7,8 & 9 from this September.”
“Young players require a development process to nurture their talent, technical development obviously, but also the player’s overall psychological, physical and social welfare are vital.”
“So if you want your child to develop their footballing ability in a positive, friendly and supportive environment then we would love to hear from you. Ultimately, it’s about players getting together with their mates to have fun and learn/develop whilst they’re at it.”
Entry is free for everyone to enjoy the entertainment which will include Skills Drills Competitions including Human Table Football, the Wall Challenge & 3 Metre Cross Competition run by another Hull City Legend, John Hawley.
There will also be a Parent Presentation, 5-a-side football competition, Stavros’s famous BBQ, outdoor disco & tombola to add to the fun. For younger children there is a secure play area with picnic facilities.
With many great prizes to win including an Ipad3, VIP trips to Capital FM, a BMX bike, Wayne Rooney signed England shirt, concert tickets and much more a fun day is guaranteed for all.
