Long Service Certificates At DST

Staff at the Defence School of Transport, the worlds largest residential driving training school, have recently received certificates to acknowledge and reward their long and honourable service.

The Director General Army Recruiting and Training (DG ART ) Long Service Certificates where presented to the valued employees by the Commandant of the Defence School of Transport (DST), Colonel Paul Ash.

In total the 16 staff has amassed over 350 years of work for the school.

Colonel Ash said

“this is a small but important recognition of the considerable amount of hard work, dedication, professionalism and service that the recipients have shown.”

“They have all contributed a significant amount both to DST and the Ministry of Defence for which we very much appreciate and they should be justifiably proud of”.

June Carter who has worked at DST for 27 years said

“ I am very proud and delighted to have been presented with my certificate for Long Service Certificate, especially by Colonel Paul. I have been very lucky to have worked for the Ministry of Defence and it is very much appreciated to be recognised in such a formal way.”
