Beverley Town Cricket Club’s fourths blew away Hull in the East Yorkshire Cricket Alliance as they won by six wickets at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Batting first Hull Ionians Coal Exporters posted a score of just 125 runs and Beverley’s Charlie Bough ripped through the visitor’s batting line-up claiming four wickets and giving away only 14 runs from his six over’s.
Beverley’s batters made light work of the total set by Hull as they easily scored the 126 runs required, Richard Thompson top scored with 42 while Richard Simpson finished with an unbeaten 25.
