Beverley and Rural Community Partnership joined the ERYC Housing Services to put on a joint event today at the Beverley Leisure Complex.
Over 20 service providers attended, including Humberside Police, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, The Healthy Eating Bus, FISH, Age UK, Credit Union, The Cherry Tree Centre and the council’s housing and sport, play and arts services. Visitors had the chance to raise issues with the Police and chat with the Library Services to name just a few of the services represented.
Tenants and residents from across the East Riding attended the free event making the most of the
fun activities for children which included face painting and archery, plus the chance to win in the free prize draw a brand new bicycle.
The events aim was to provide information on a wide range of services available to the public in the East Riding, for its tenants and residents alike, in an informal and friendly setting and to promote the involvement of tenants in the delivery of housing services.
This at the same time as allowing all residents a chance to meet the aforementioned groups and sample some of the activites available within the East Riding.
