Record Results For Longcroft School As Students Shine

Longcroft students today received their A-Level results and there was plenty to celebrate.

Eva Lawrence amazingly achieved full marks in her law paper and will go to Cambridge University to study French & German. Hassan Bassam will join Eva at Cambridge, where he will study mathematics.

Andrew Camplejohn, after having been crowned the Prom King, capped his year off by being offered a place at medical school.

Lottie Dodd achieved three A* and will go on to study Japanese at Balliol College at Oxford University.

Lottie said;

“I am genuinely shell-shocked but utterly ecstatic and excited about the next four years.”

The school achieved a record number of A* with 10 students getting straight A’s

Andy Baker head of Sixth Form at Longcroft School told HU17.net

“I think they have made a fantastic contribution to the school and set themselves up with a bright future.”

Mr. Baker added;

“I am very proud of what they have achieved and will miss all the students.”

Mr O’Donnell, Headteacher, stated that

“We are really proud of our students who have worked tremendously hard to exceed challenging targets.”

“Longcroft’s pass rate, which this year is 99%, is consistently high, and students and staff work together to secure impressive results.”
