Beverley RUFC overcame a tough pre season friendly against Scunthorpe of the National League 3 Midlands.
The Beavers won the game 37 – 17 with tries coming from Junior Tupai, Tomasi Tanumi, Craig Hancock, Richard Bussey & Rob Smith.
Club captain Junior Tupai who gave an inspiring performance and scorer of the opening try told HU17.net;
“It was a good first pre-season hit out for Beverley against a side that plays in a higher league.”
“Still a few people coming back from long term injuries that were unavailable & plenty for the coaches to work on for next weeks preseason game against Pontefract away!”
