Beverley Town FC got their Humber Premier League campaign off to a flyer with a great away win as they beat Chalk Lane 2 – 1.
Goals from Tyler Collinson and Lewis Keating were enough to secure the points and manage Dave Ricardo felt his side were unlucky not to come away with a clean sheet, he told HU17.net;
“It was a good professional performance against a fit hard-working Chalk Lane side that has finished top 3 in the league for the last four years.”
“The back five were superb and were unlucky to concede due to a dodgy penalty decision.”
“We have a massive game on Tuesday night at the Norwood Recreation Ground against current champions Reckitts AFC, but we will go into the game with a lot of confidence.”
