Beverley RUFC’s second team were beaten by Doncaster Academy 29 – 21 at Beaver Park as they continued their build up to the new season.
The Beavers founds themselves 17 – 0 down after just ten minutes but fought back hard and were unlucky not to get more from the game.
Player manager Rob Vaux told HU17.net;
“It was not a bad result at all for a side that has done no training together.”
“We fielded a lot of players who will most likely play for the Bandits when the season starts.”
“Our second team should have real potential this season, with the new signings joining the first team some of their players will be available to play with the seconds.”
