Hull College Girls were knocked out of the cup by Withernsea 4 – 3 on penalties after drawing 3 – 3 with the boys team after extra time.
Grace Fletcher scored twice for Hull with Amelia Hodgson also getting onto the score sheet as they showed again they are able to compete against the boys.
The girls get their new league campaign under way next week as they play their second season in Hull Boys Sunday League and will be looking to build on last year’s success that saw them earn promotion.
