Hodgsons FC were beaten 3 – 1 by Hessle Rangers at Bishop Burton College.
Tom Davies had given the Tanners the lead in the first half though Rangers came out stronger, Mike Jones scored twice for Rangers with sub Matthew Lucid grabbing their third.
The win sees Hessle Rangers move above Hodgsons FC in the Humber Premier League.
Next weekend, the Tanners will travel to Duke Park where they will face Bridlington Sports Club.
