Beverley RUFC travel North to Middlesbrough this weekend for the first of two tough away fixtures, the Beavers are away at Morley the following week.
This spell will give them a good idea of their prospects for the rest of the season.
If they can come home with the points from these trips, they will be set fair for a reasonably satisfactory start to the campaign.
Having started well, winning their first four matches, the Beavers need to consolidate the form shown in them.
Francis Pickering’s injury sustained in last weekend’s victory over Malton, is not as serious as first thought, although he will still be out for a couple of weeks and Goran Jelencic is unavailable this week as he is attending a family wedding.
Apart from those, other minor knocks and injuries are responding well to treatment and the following squad has been selected for the trip:-
