Beverley Rugby Club are hosting a rugby tag festival at their ground Beaver Park on Norwood in Beverley. The festival is on Tuesday 9th October between 3.30pm and 5.15pm.
The event is being organised by the Rugby Football Union who invite all the primary schools in the Beverley area. Historically about 8 schools take part.
There are two age groups, year 5 and year 6, participating in games of 7 a side. We are therefore expecting approximately 16 teams to be taking part.
The idea behind the festival is to promote rugby union but also fitness and sport in general. Tesco are supporting the event by providing fruit on arrival for all children.
