Beverley Whitestar recovered well on Sunday at the Beverley Leisure Centre after losing their first game to North Cave Tigers in the first match.
Gaffer Craig Darley delivered a talk ahead of the second match that sparked his players to life as they went on to win the second game to nil.
The goals came from Ben Darley who curled in a free kick and a smart finish from Jacob Hunt.
