Godfrey Bloom MEP Thrilled With Respone In Beverley

Godfrey Bloom, local UKIP MEP, who is contesting the role of Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside, received fantastic support while out campaigning in Beverley.

Godfrey, his running mate Mike Speakman, who is retired Deputy Chief Constable of Humberside and supporters were out in the town centre chatting to shoppers and passers-by in the sunshine.

They handed out copies of Godfrey’s hard hitting brochure and were delighted at the response they received.

“We have been thrilled at the response and it is clear that our message of putting the victim before the criminal is hitting home with local people,” said Godfrey.

“It is thought that there will be a very low turnout on voting day November 15 but it is clear that we are in tune with the public and we expect to do win,” he added.

  1. Sorry Anne! I disagree. The impunity shielding chief constables in numerous examples of blatant misconduct in past and recent times should be stopped. Most are also overly imbued with political correctness so if the advent of this new post ( as outlined by Godfrey Bloom ) I’m all for it – and him.

  2. I will vote for Godfrey as he is straight talking and will put the victims of crime first for a change.
