Northern Brace Helps Town Keep The Pressure On Cave

Two goals from Rob Northern and a strike from Richard Gibson ensured Beverley Town FC continued to keep in the hunt at the top of the Humber Premier League.

Playing away from home Town made light work of Sculcoates Amateurs showing great character to bounce back from last week’s match disappointing result.

Manager Dave Ricardo said after the game;

“I am very proud of the players, to come here and get three points was a massive achievement. This result sets us up well for next week’s game at North Cave.”

Asa Pardoe who was rested last week received lots of praise from his boss, Ricardo said;

“Asa was class. He looked fresh and played his socks off, the team as whole showed a vast improvement on last week’s performance.”

Cave currently lead the Humber Premier League and a win for Town would move them level on points but gaffer Ricardo is not taking anything for granted and continues to play down talk of winning the title in his first season in charge at the club.
