Beverley Town FC were beaten 2 – 0 and 4 – 1 by Hessle Sporting Stingrays at Longcroft School despite playing very well at times in both games.
The defeat leaves Town mid table and they will be looking to bounce back next weekend when they return to Hull Boys Sunday Football League action.
Next up for Town is an away day at the Blackburn Leisure Centre when they face bottom club Elloughton Blackburn Stirlings.
